Mometasone Furoate (MF) is a new fluoride-free glucocorticoid derivative with high curative effect and few adverse reactions. Mometasone furoate is a fluoride-free hormone with the chemical name 9,21-dichloro-11b,17-dihydroxy-16a-methylpregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione 17- (2-furoate). The C1 and 2 double bonds in the molecular structure have the function of increasing curative effect; C9, 21 chlorination enhances anti-inflammatory activity; C16 methyl group reduces salt metabolism, C17 furoate increases lipophilicity, and strengthens local curative effect. Reduces systemic absorption and reduces the risk of adverse reactions.

Mometasone furoate is a soft hormone.
