Betahistine mesylate is a commonly used clinical drug with positive effect. It is a vasodilator and belongs to histamine derivatives. It has a similar chemical structure and pharmacological properties to histamine. It is a weak agonist of histamine H1 receptors. , has no effect on histamine H2 receptors, and is a strong agonist of histamine H3 receptors.
