Eslicarbazepine Acetate (BIA 2093, Zebinix, Exalief, Stedesa, Aptiom) is an antiepileptic drug.

Eslicarbazepine acetate (ESL) has antispasmodic effects in latrunculin A-induced epilepsy, spasticity, and paroxysmal EEG activity. In addition to suppressing seizures, it has a disease-modifying effect, possibly by altering the development of an overexcited network.
