1.Cytarabine is a purine nucleoside antiviral drug first extracted from Streptomyces culture solution and then chemically synthesized. It is a white crystalline powder, very slightly soluble in water, and its monophosphate is easily soluble in water. . It has inhibitory effect on DNA viruses such as herpes simplex virus HSV1 and HSV2, hepatitis B virus, varicella-zoster virus and cytomegalovirus, but has no effect on smallpox virus, adenovirus, other DNA or RNA viruses, bacteria and fungi . The exact antiviral mechanism of cytarabine has not been fully elucidated, and it is mainly related to the inhibition of virus replication. Drugs and their metabolites block the synthesis of viral DNA by inhibiting the DNA polymerase of the virus, while the drug itself only penetrates into the DNA molecule of the virus in a very small amount. The drug is not immunosuppressive. Intravenous administration of 75% to 87% of the drugs in the body is rapidly deaminated by adenosine deoxygenase into arabinose hypoxanthine, the antiviral activity is significantly lower than the original, and it is quickly distributed in some tissues; 10 mg per kilogram of body weight is administered , the peak blood concentration of arabinose hypoxanthine is 3～6μ/ml, the peak blood concentration of arabinosine is 0.2～0.4μg/ml, arabinose hypoxanthine can pass through the blood-brain barrier, and the concentration of cerebrospinal fluid is about 1/3 of the plasma drug concentration. 41% to 53% of the daily dose is excreted from the urine in the form of arabinose hypoxanthine, and 1% to 3% is excreted as the prototype drug. Clinically, cytarabine is mainly used to treat herpes simplex encephalitis, and also used to treat herpes zoster and chickenpox infection in immunosuppressed patients, but it is ineffective against cytomegalovirus. It also has the pharmacological activity of inhibiting the replication of hepatitis B virus. Topical for herpes simplex keratitis and occasionally for vaccinia keratitis.

2.Cytarabine, also known as Yamashan cytarabine, cytarabine hydrochloride, cytosine arabinoside, cytosine arabinoside, cytosine arabinoside, Sedsa, Sedway, is currently clinically used in my country. This drug is a pyrimidine antimetabolite antitumor drug, which is cell cycle specific and most sensitive to S-phase cells. It interferes with cell proliferation by inhibiting the synthesis of cellular DNA. Cytarabine enters the human body and is converted into cytarabine triphosphate and cytarabine diphosphate by kinase phosphorylation. The former can strongly inhibit the synthesis of DNA polymerase, while the latter can inhibit the conversion of cytarabine diphosphate into cytarabine diphosphate. Deoxycytidine diphosphate inhibits the synthesis and polymerization of cellular DNA. The inhibitory effect on RNA and protein synthesis is very slight.
