As a third-generation EGFR inhibitor, osimertinib is aimed at the subgroup of patients with EGFR T790M mutation to meet such unmet market needs: osimertinib has high selectivity, and is highly selective for T790M/L858R mutation and exon 19 deletion of EGFR.
